A Look at Fall Foliage
Reason #34523974283 I love my husband: his sense of adventure and constant search of fun things to do. Last month when Mike and I were in Connecticut, we had a couple of hours to kill before his dad's surprise birthday party. He knows how much I miss the foliage, so we spent a little time driving around, and all of a sudden, he pulls a u-turn with an "I've got it!!" We drove up a few streets and ended up at a familiar dead end, the trail to the vista.
Seriously, how amazing is this view of the foliage and the city of Hartford? It was almost exactly 5 years since we last went to that spot. Back then, we had just started living together, and obviously my phone was awful - haha! We walked around, took a few photos, and had so much fun reminiscing about living in New England.
I love this time of year to get to bust out my favorite jean jacket. Usually, it's with a bright pair of ankle pants, but I obviously dressed it up a bit more for the party. You can shop my look here:

Gorgeous! Okay, Target is killing it with their shoe game lately. Multiple people have posted different boots/booties from Target and I always think they look so expensive and fancy!

Ah, pretty leaves! I still haven't seen the leaves really start to change around my house... hoping the cooler weather this week starts to turn them. At least we'll have a pretty Thanksgiving this year? Maybe? Happy Wednesday!

What is the Fall, you speak of?! I kid, I kid. I do miss it - we grew up in New York, but moved to Florida when I was 12, so I miss it too.

Love that jean jacket! I'm badly in need of one. And I miss how pretty the leaves get in the north. We don't get much of it in Charleston :(
