For all the eating we did this weekend: mac and cheese, fried everything at the fair, a Sunday supper that included homemade macaroni and cheese, we certainly did enough walking to make up for it. The weather was so perfect!

Weekend Recap
Let's be honest, this Weekend Recap is really just a photo dump. Mike and I did a whole bunch this weekend, most notably opening the windows and hopefully finally turning off the A/C for the year... kidding - kind of. Honestly, though, we played golf, I judged 16 types of mac and cheese, we ordered our living room wall art and bar stools (finally), and went to the Coastal Carolina Fair. Linking up with Biana today!

And, of course, here are a few photos from my judging experience at The Mac Off. I had such a great time with Mike and my fellow judges (Brooke from 2 Girls and a Guy, Abby from Charleston Inside Out, and Sydney from Queen of the Food Age). The awards went to: Cherrywood Barbecue for Critics' Choice, Tavern & Table for Best Southern Style, and Shelter for Best Local Ingredients.

A mac off???? Being a judge for a mac off is like my dream come true!!! They all look so yummy and delicious. I am ready to turn our air off too, but the weather says differently.
