Chaos

Just continuing the Full House theme for this move... this is what each of our rooms currently look like...

Well, it's been a week since Mike got down here with that 27 foot moving truck.  He got the biggest truck he could and let me tell you, he filled that thing to the roof.  Apparently we have a lot of shit.  And where does that shit go, you ask?  Into the middle of our living room, bathrooms, office, bedroom... anywhere it can.  There's a microwave in one bathroom and golf clubs in the other.  I swear, we've spent more time moving boxes from place to place than actually unpacking them.  I am SO grateful for the HUGE closets this place has.  Not only does mine fit all of my clothes from my two Connecticut closets, I'm also keeping all of our Christmas decorations, tons of wedding stuff, and basically everything else that's currently homeless.

the current state of chaos

yup

Also, I apologize for all of the scheduled posts and lack of actual blog interaction.  I have tons and tons of ideas floating around in my head and tons of photos taken, I just haven't had to time to put my thoughts into words.  Plus: good news - we have internet now in our apartment, so I'll be lurking around the blogosphere very soon!

So, what I'm trying to say, well, ask, is for you to bear with me during the next couple weeks while I attempt to unpack my life and find a routine.  Seriously, it'll be worth it, I promise!  In the meantime, make sure you check back tomorrow for something especially fun to start your weekend :)  Oh, and did I mention when this goes live I'll be on a plane back to CT for my bridal shower and about a million wedding appointments this weekend?  See?  CHAOS.

One Year Ago.

It was exactly one year ago today that the love of my life proposed.  It has been quite the year of ups and downs, and because we made it through this year stronger than ever, I know we can make it through anything.

I cannot believe that I can actually say that we're getting married "next month."  We are finally living in paradise together and from now until September 20th will continue to be one of the greatest whirlwinds of our lives.

I love you, Mike, and I am so happy to have you by my side today and for always.
