Our Wedding Invitations

I am so excited that our invitations have reached Mississippi, California, and even Germany, so I can share them with all y'all!  Just like with our Save the Date magnets, we chose Minted for our invitations.  Minted is an absolutely amazing company that really stresses the importance of independent design.  When I started looking for "wedding theme" stationary ideas, I went on Minted and found this Meadow wedding invitation suite.  If you notice, that's all there is in this style: no Save the Date, no ceremony programs, no menus, but have no fear, Minted will make any piece you want from any style on their page with tons of proofs along the way at no extra cost.  Plus, everything is fully color customizable for you!  I can't wait to share everything else we ordered from them, too!  Here's what we received in the package from Minted.  FYI, enjoy all of the blurriness of specific times and locations throughout this post:

After I did all of the calligraphy, Mike willingly took the whole invitation process under his wing [he asked to!!] , stamping the RSVP envelopes and outer envelopes and stuffing everything.  He's a keeper, huh?

So here's what our invitees saw, starting with my calligraphy on the outer and inner envelopes and all the way through the invitation and enclosures:

Those look great! I asked my father in law to put the stamps on all the envelopes and he put them all on upside down! That's the one and only time I asked for his help!

Those are beautiful! I absolutely love the design on them, as well as your beautiful calligraphy! I made my own invitations, which was pretty tricky to get everything perfect, but I always love looking at (and getting!) specially made invitations.
