DIY Bridesmaid Gift Box from Gillian at Coastal Bride

Happy Wedding Wednesday, everyone!  By now, most of you probably know where I am, so I've asked my fellow Charleston blogger and now IRL friend, Gillian, to share something fun with you today.  Her blog has tons of wedding ideas, tutorials, inspiration, so I highly suggest you check her out!

Hi everyone! I'm Gillian from Coastal Bride, a Charleston, South Carolina based wedding blog. I am so excited to share with you today this DIY Will You Be My Bridesmaid box.
Asking someone to be your bridesmaid is a big deal. You're telling this person that they are important and you want them there for one of the biggest days of your life, if not the biggest day you've experienced yet. So when you ask those special ladies to join you on the adventure that is wedding planning, you want it to be extra special. All of the items included in this box are indulging and relaxing, plus they also happen to be easily sourced and budget-friendly! Read on to learn how you can create this simple and sweet Will You Be My Bridesmaid Box!

Start with a simple box. I chose a wooden design as I liked the simple and organic look. Next add some crinkle paper to cushion the items. I used organic paper mixed with gold to add a fun pop!

Since you will most likely be creating the same boxes for all of your bridesmaids you want to pick a unified theme that they will all enjoy. I decided to create a gift box that had a relaxing, treat your self-theme. These “Love Salts” were the perfect addition! With a light pink hue and a blend of essential oils and Himalayan salts, this is the perfect gift for even the most overworked bridesmaid. There’s no better way to celebrate than with a bit of bubbly. With their hot pink bottles, Sofia Mini’s are the perfect addition to any gift. Include in a few paper straws to add color.

Most importantly, you will need a cute card to officially say, “Will you be my Bridesmaid?” There are many options available online but I loved the feminine look of these hand-painted cards from Charleston, SC artist Rebecca Hinson. I chose two different styles from her studio to include in the gift boxes.

TADA! Now who could resist a gift this sweet?

Thanks so much for sharing, Gillian!  Now it's your turn: share a wedding-inspired post with us!  Use the button, if you'd like, and please link back to my or Macy's blog so that others can join in Wedding Wednesday, too!

I love these baskets! I did something similar, but you had some great options in your box. Those macaroons are super cute, and a great way to incorporate your future colors, and I love those cards. I'm off to check out what all she offers now.
