Nashville Recap

Wow, it's been over two weeks since I got back from Nashville, and I'm so excited to finally tell you all about my trip.  I'm sorry it took me so long!

I can't even tell you the amazing experience I had at my first ever National Network Meeting.  Our home office has one of these meetings every two years, and almost every one of the 220+ chapters located in cities and states across the country attends to interact, learn, and be educated on new curricula.  Oh, and of course meeting and talking to my role model and idol, golfer Annika Sorenstam, and seeing President George W. Bush and PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem weren't too bad either ;)

[SHAMELESS PLUG: If you know a child between the ages of 5 and 18 that would enjoy learning the game of golf but, more importantly, learning valuable life skills like perseverance, honesty, responsibility, and judgment - click here to find a First Tee chapter near you! Lessons are very affordable.]

Obviously a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are some photos [and a video] of the trip.  I couldn't do Gaylord Opryland justice [even with the video] so here's their website if you want to take a look!

Seriously, how pretty is this??

Perfect charger spot, right??

Me and my coworkers out to dinner

Last year, The First Tee introduced Nine Healthy Habits - so there was no shortage of healthy food, and it was SO GOOD. I had at least 2 Naked smoothies a day.

Okay, so maybe it wasn't all healthy.  But come on, I had to try the "Top your own cupcake" bar

Meeting my idol, Annika Sorenstam!

The Grand Ole Opry!!

Montgomery Gentry

Josh Turner

Blake Shelton

Our chapter's representation at the Gala dinner

And of course, my favorite outfits of the week!

And the hotel... this was only one of the many indoor gardens!

I lived in TN most of my life and never went to the Grand Ole Opry. I must change that.

Glad you had a good time.
