Sunday Social: Music Favorites

I loved these Sunday Social questions so much this week! They brought back so many fun memories!

1. What is your all-time favorite song? Oh gosh, this changes soooo often.  Let's go with top played on my iTunes: Who's To Say by Vanessa Carlton, followed closely by Maroon 5's Back At Your Door.

2. Who is your favorite singer/band?  My current favorite is definitely Darius Rucker.  I've loved Hootie and the Blowfish ever since I was little, and I thought it was SO COOL they were golfers [my parents and I met them almost ever year in SC at a golf tournament we attended].  I think his transition to country is awesome, and I've loved listening to him again as I make my own switch to country :)

3. What song reminds you of your childhood? Definitely anything Beach Boys - they were my second, third, and fourth concerts with my parents when I was little [first was Crosby, Stills, and Nash], and they remind me of long road trips.

4. What songs put you in a good mood? Probably anything off Train's album "Save Me, San Francisco."  When Mike and I first started dating, Hey Soul Sister was huge, and after a month of dating, we planned a trip to San Francisco for that summer... 3 months later [crazy, right?], and of course songs like Save Me San Francisco and If It's Love were all over the place :)

5. What is your music to rock out to in your car? Lately it's been a lot of country, but I also throw in my old mixes from high school every once in a while [you know, some Hilary Duff, Fall Out Boy, OAR, and Michelle Branch]

6. What is the most embarrassing album or song you own? Probably my S Club 7 CDs from elementary school, but boy are those songs catchy! haha

Darius Rucker is amazing! I love that his transition to country has been so easy.

I would listen to the Beach Boys when I was younger while cleaning my room. Listening to them brings back a lot of childhood memories too :)

I love Darius Rucker! He's the only "real" concert I've been too, so of course he has a special place in my heart.
