Beauty Favorites: Eyes

Welcome back to my favorite cosmetics!  If you missed my first post last week, I shared my favorite concealers and eye shadow palettes.  Today is all about the next step in my beauty routine: eye lining and mascara-ing (I think I made that term up).  Do you have any favorite beauty products? I'd love to hear about them in the comments!
Eye Liner:
Good: Maybelline Master Drama Cream Pencil (in Black)
Better: L'Oreal Infallible Blackbuster Liner (in Black)
Best: Maybelline Master Duo Glossy Liquid Liner (in Black Lacquer)
I absolutely love a look with the perfect liner!  The very first eyeliner I tried was the Master Drama cream pencil, and I absolutely loved it!  It worked great for a few weeks, but when it came time to twist it up and use more... it didn't work.  Come to find out, if you Google "Maybelline Master Drama" the second suggestion is "does not twist up."  I contacted Maybelline and they were fantastic.  They sent me $9 to try another product, with which I bought Master Duo (but more about that a little later).  This L'Oreal eyeliner is amazing and another find courtesy of Shelby.  It is the perfect, easy to use, thin eyeliner!  I could not be happier with it.  Honestly, I like the L'Oreal and Maybelline Master Duo equally as much, but the reason that Maybelline is on top is because of the variety of eyeliner widths you can create with it.  The two-in-one tip "goes from thin to thick with the twist of your wrist."

Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara:
Good: The Falsies (in Very Black Waterproof)
Better: The Colossal (in Glam Black Waterproof)
Best: Mega Plush (in Very Black Waterproof)
Can you tell I love Maybelline mascaras?  I absolutely love them, especially the waterproof varieties.  They stay on well and don't seem as hard to manage as other waterproof mascaras I've tried.  Mega Plush was actually the first Maybelline mascara I tried.  I love its flexible brush that helps the mascara go on easily and not too stiff or brittle.  My second favorite, The Colossal, was actually the makeup my stylists used on my wedding.  It also gave fantastic, full volume and stayed on well for 15+ hours.  Lastly, The Falsies provided the biggest lashes with it's patented spoon-shape brush, but I tend to have a lot of clumping with this one.

I've been using Origins from Macy's on my eyes!!! I LOVE it. I started adding some plant based makeup to my makeup bag when I was pregnant and their mascara and cream shadows are awesome!!!

Last week I accidentally put lip liner on one of my eyes. Maybe it could be a new trend! Or maybe I just need a baby who sleeps through the night.... ;-)
