Christmas Card Picks

Happy Monday!  First of all, don't forget to enter my giveaway with Coastal Kelder this week!

I know, I know, it's not even Thanksgiving yet, what is this chick thinking?  I swear I have good reason; my goal this year is to be one of the first of our family and friends to get cards out.  Here's my thought: mostly everyone still has our apartment address, so by getting a card in their hand with our new address as or before they're writing their own cards, it will be way easier for them to update their address book!  I can't yet decide between something Southern or something to specifically tell them we've moved, but I do know that our cards will come from Minted.  My love affair with them goes way back; their quality is fantastic, and free recipient addressing gets me every time.

Now for the really big question: photo cards or non-photo cards?  We didn't take any professional photos like last year, but maybe something in front of our house or from my sister-in-law's wedding?  Can I just use a wedding photo in the card for the next 10 years?  What about photos of our adorable cats?  See, I love blogging because has literally just been my train of thought for the last 2 minutes - haha.  I digress; we need to make a choice.  I've narrowed it down... kind of.
Minted is having a sale through tomorrow for 15% off all holiday card orders with code HOLIDAY15, so I highly suggest taking advantage.  So alright, here are my options: 1-4 are "Southern" picks, 5-8 are non-photo "moving" cards, and 10-13 are the photo card options.  I need your honest input - what should we choose?
Southern-inspired cards: 1 ||| 2 ||| 3 ||| 4
New home illustrated cards: 5 ||| 6 ||| 7 ||| 8 ||| 9
New home photo cards: 10 ||| 11 ||| 12 ||| 13

Will you be sending out cards this year?  Do you do photos or non-photo cards?

i feel lucky to be single and not have to worry about cards. i rarely receive them and i think often i just get cute cards sans photo or personalization (electronically) now a days. and i don't hate it. i like 2, 5, 6 - i know i'm no help haha

I need to check out Minted this year for sure! I was the same way about getting our cards out early the year we moved into our house so people would have our new address. Great idea <3

You picked out some good options! I'm always a fan of the photo cards - I love seeing the pictures that everyone chooses to send out. Hope you get your cards ordered soon! :)

We always send out photo cards every year, but Chris is convinced that we need to write a Christmas letter. I say that we're not that entertaining lol! All of those options are so cute, but I love the Southern cards!

I switched to photo cards a few years ago and I'm never looking back. This year I'm doing one of our snow ones from Beaver Creek then the one of us in front of the new house with our "sold" sign so it doubles as our we moved notice. I want to get professional pics at some point but it didn't happen again this year :/

I do love all of them, but I think since this is your first in your new home going with that as a "theme" of sorts would be fun. I do love the Southern ones though!

I love your goal and that's ours too - I love once the cards are done and sent! I love all these picks - I swear, I spent way too long looking at cards this weekend! But at least they are ordered :)

I definitely love to send out photo cards for the holidays but it doesn't necessarily happen every year. I just used Minted to order our Business Holiday Cards for work (no photos for that) but of course I'm slacking with getting our personal holiday cards even ordered.

I'm the crazy person that designed our Christmas card back in August, but waited until October to get them printed locally because I didn't want them to think I was ridiculous haha.

You're not crazy at all! When we ordered our thank you cards, I ordered our Christmas cards, too! And I totally vote for #13!
