Party Starters: Jalapeño Bacon Barbecue Bites

As y'all know, entertaining is my favorite, but this time of year, life gets so busy.  It feels like we always have a holiday for which to prep!  While I love for everything to be from scratch when I have friends and family over, I am totally guilty of taking the occasional shortcut for more "semi-homemade" dishes.  Here's where Farm Rich comes in; they have best selection of frozen products: mozzarella sticks, breaded mushrooms, loaded potato skins, and my favorite: jalapeño peppers.  All of these appetizers are great on their own, but in just about 20 minutes, I have a delicious snack, that will make those peppers into your new go-to for the upcoming holiday and entertaining season.
Ingredients:
- 12 frozen Farm Rich Jalapeño Peppers
- 6 strips of bacon
- barbecue sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees, as directed on the jalapeño peppers box.
2. Slice each strip of bacon in half and fry them in a pan on medium for a minute and a half on each side.  This step will help the bacon crisp up perfectly in the oven.
3. Wrap one half slice of bacon around each jalapeño pepper, placing the seam side down on the baking tray.
4. Cook the jalapeño peppers in the oven for 12 minutes.
5. Remove the bacon-wrapped peppers from the oven, and brush them with your favorite barbecue sauce.
6. Place the whole tray back in the oven and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the barbecue sauce is caramelized.
7. Serve on a plate with more barbecue sauce.
If you're looking for even more delicious appetizers, you can head to Walmart to check out all the Farm Rich frozen items.  While there, not only did I pick up the Jalapeño Peppers, but also a bag of frozen Meatballs.
With the meatballs, I made easy Sweet & Sour Meatballs (just 32 ounces of grape jelly and two 12 ounce bottles of chili sauce in a slow cooker for 3 hours on low) with the Jalapeño Bacon Barbecue Bites .  These meatballs are actually gluten free, so they're great for everyone at your holiday party.
You can find even more delicious Farm Rich recipe ideas on their "Falliday" website.  If you find one you like, click here to join the Farm Rich Loyalty Club and receive a coupon for 75 cents off the Farm Rich product of your choice.
Will you be entertaining this holiday season?  What is your favorite thing to cook or bake?
