Girls' Weekend for the 4th

Happy Wednesday!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable long weekend.  Did anyone else take Monday off from work?  Independence Day on a Tuesday is just so weird - there was no way I was going back to work for one day just to take the next one off ;)  My mom flew into town last week, and she and I drove to the Gulf Coast of Florida to spend the weekend with my aunt and cousin.  This is the same place Mike and I spent the last 4th of July after my uncle passed away, and it was so nice to be back there with family.  We had the perfect ladies' weekend, relaxing by the pool, getting manis & pedis, eating so much delicious food, watching beautiful sunsets, and we were even surprised by my little cousins at the end of the trip who arrived early for their vacation!  On the way back yesterday, we even stopped at Disney for some breakfast and shopping before fireworks back in Charleston.  It was a great weekend, and I'm super pumped for a super short 3-day week!
Linking up super late for Weekending with Biana!

Everything about your weekend looked amazing, and yay for no work on Monday either! Thankfully my office closed for both days, but I definitely would have taken it off if we had to. Glad you had a fabulous girls weekend, and those views - so pretty <3

I am sitting here swooning over your photos. We usually vacation on the Isle of Palms near Charleston each year but opted to stay put this year with Baby #3 on the way. I just didn't think I had it in me to chase two other kids while 7 months pregnant! But I'm seriously regretting my decision after reading your post. Haha! And I took Monday off as well. I saw no reason in going to work for one day! Especially the day that's the hardest to get going. Thanks for stopping by my blog, because now I've found yours! Am your newest follower. :)
