#DisneySide @Home Celebration: Let's Party!!

First of all, thank you #DisneySide for making this celebration possible!  About a month ago, I was selected to host a "Show Your #DisneySide" celebration to help promote Disney's new campaign to make Disney magic a part of your everyday life.  Well, I was surprisingly selected as a "non-mom" to throw a party for my kids at work.  I had 16 girls between the ages of 7 and 14 come for a combined #DisneySide, Valentine's Day, and school vacation party! We had a busy night, filled with tons of fun, and I apologize in advance for not getting as many quality photos as I would have hoped.  I was just having so much fun with the girls!!

First of all, here is my field house where we hosted the party:

The night began with Disney bingo as the guests arrived.  It was a great activity that the girls could just jump into when got there.

After a name game and ice breaker for the girls to get to know each other, we started right in with the golf.  We have an amazing golf simulator at my field house, so to go along with the "vacation" aspect of the theme, the kids played holes on Floridian golf courses!

The balloons in my #DisneySide package came in really handy with putting!  The girls had so much fun with them!

While golfing, the girls also took turns in the "photo booth!" TI was so happy they loved the props I made!

After golf, the girls got into groups and played Scattergories.  We put one "teen," a couple of "pre-teens," and a "little girl" in each group to make it fair.

And, of course, the girls LOVED choosing prizes after the game!

After working up an appetite with Scattergories, the girls made their own snacks.  We had a fun buffet with lots of "do-it-yourself" healthy snacks!
Ugh, pet peeve of mine - a bad photo.  Seriously, it was so crazy all night and I didn't realize the only photo I got of the buffet table was blurry - I'm sorry!  From left to right, there are: Mickey-shaped sugar cookies, yogurt cups, decorating frosting in cupcake liners, decorating toppings [dried fruit with a few Valentine's MMs], fruity magic wands, and tropical cups with umbrellas for Dole punch.

These were my absolute favorite part!!

And this was definitely the girls' favorites: sugar cookies, dried fruit for decorating, and frosting in individual cupcake wrappers!

To end the night, the girls made Disney-themed Valentines for their loved ones!

It was SUCH a fun night!! The girls were so enthusiastic and even the older ones had fun with the games and arts & crafts, so much so that I didn't even need to whip out my nail-decorating Plan B!

Now if you're wondering about recipes, how to's, and have general questions about the activities I did in this post, here is my post from a couple of weeks ago about how I put together this party!

Lastly, throughout this post, you might have noticed the fun #DisneySide templates.  They are courtesy of HP  for all Disney fans and can be printed for free through the #DisneySide website!  Extra fun was that Disney included HP photo paper in my @Home Celebration kit, so I gave each young lady some photo paper and emailed the photos to their moms for them to print at home!

I received many of the above products complimentary from #DisneySide to throw a #DisneySide @Home Celebration to promote Disney's new campaign "Show Your #DisneySide," but all opinions are my own.
