Happy Friday, y'all! Hope you had a great week - we sure did. Here's what we've been up to:
// We had our last kickball game of the season on Tuesday. We have the most fantastic team, and it's been great to find another group of friends in Charleston. We finished the season 4-3-1 (not bad for a team with 12 of 14 players who had never played "adult" kickball before!), and I'm so excited that most of our team will be staying together for the next season starting in May.
// On Wednesday, I had a huge event for the kids of the schools with which we work. I got to see a beautiful sunrise at the golf course where the event was held, and the whole event made me love my job even more.
// After the event on Wednesday, we head out to Columbia for the first leg of our Thursday adventure. We decided to go to Augusta, GA to see if we could go to the Masters. No, we didn't have tickets, but we planned to play golf at the Augusta Municipal course in the morning (we wanted to say we played golf in Augusta during the Masters - haha), and go from there! The Muni was a lot of fun and the perfect way to start the day.
// We DID get tickets to the Masters and spent the afternoon watching the golf and admiring the beauty of Augusta National Golf Club - I can't even describe how breathtaking it was!
// This weekend marks 5 years that Mike and I have been together! We plan to celebrate with a Charleston Distillery Tour courtesy of Charleston Culinary Tours (recap coming next week!) and a good ole house party at one of our kickball teammate's houses.
