Cocktail of the Month: Bahamian Blue Runner

It's never too early in the morning to read about a cocktail, right?  When we were on our honeymoon, we had so much fun with all of the Sandals drinks.  When we got back, we went straight to the package store and bought all of our new favorite liquors and mixers to make our own.  After a couple of months, we've finally come up with a favorite.  It comes our favorite parts of three of the drinks: white rum and pineapple juice (from the Bahama Mama), blue Curacao (from the Caribbean Blue), and dark rum, creme de banana, and blackberry brandy (from the Rum Runner).  As you can imagine, with five different kinds of alcohol, this one will throw you for a loop (but you'd never know it with all of its deliciousness).  You can definitely adjust these proportions to fit your taste buds, but we love this because it's not too sweet, and you can really taste every flavor.
Ingredients (for a pair of drinks):
2 oz dark rum
1 oz white rum
1 oz blackberry brandy
1 oz creme de banana
1/2 oz blue curacao
4 oz pineapple juice
maraschino cherries to garnish
Directions:
In a shaker with ice, combine all liquors and pineapple juice.  Shake and pour into two glasses.  Garnish with cherries and another splash of pineapple (or cranberry) juice, if you'd like!

Oh my delicious! I had my favorite P-I-T-A drink this weekend at the lake (there's only 3 places that make it correctly and they all are 3 hours away) and then my poolside drink was malibu and pineapple. What good drinks these all look to be!!
