Cheers to Friday!

This week, we had some of our best friends visiting.  Phil was in our wedding and has been friends with Mike since middle school, and he and his fiancee just got engaged this spring!  We were thrilled to have them visit because they love playing cards and drinking beer just as much as we do.  Here's everything we did this week:

1. Beer: We went to 11 local breweries in 5 days... not kidding.  Half were from this list and this list, and the others are more I can't wait to share in another brewery post soon.  As home brewers, they definitely know what they like (and what the best is), and their favorites were Revelry, Low Tide, and Charles Towne Fermentory.
2. Games: Our very first brewery of the trip was Ghost Monkey, and as I've said before, I love their game selection there.  We grabbed Rummikub and loved drinking/playing so much that I carried around cards and a cribbage board in my clutch for the rest of the weekend.  Anyone else play Pitch/Set Back/High-Low-Jack-Game?
3. Food: Of course, we also ate just as much as we drank.  We had to share favorites like Callie's Biscuits, Basil Thai, Zia Mexican, and Bay Street Biergarten (omg the Southern burger with fried pimento cheese and bacon jam - YUM).
4. Sightseeing: To walk off everything we ate, we made stops at all the traditional spots: Pineapple Fountain, Rainbow Row, City Market, King Street for Second Sunday, and Folly Beach.
5. Snaps: And because what's a Friday High Five without a fifth item?  Here are a few of my favorite snaps lately.  If you don't follow me, I'm @megatronnn27.  I am loving the daily overlaps all over the city!

Thanks so much to Tif at Bright on a Budget, Della at Della Devoted, Katie at Cup of Tea, Becky from BYBMG for selecting me as the H54F featured blogger.

There are few things I love more than hanging out at a brewery and playing some kind of game! Our favorites are Exploding Kittens and Codenames :)
