Pinned It! Did It! Loved it!

It's been sooooo long since I last updated on my Pinterest endeavors.  I can't believe it's been two years since my month-long Pinterest adventure [what the s**t was I thinking back then?!].  Here's what I've been loving recently: [You can see everything on my Pinterest board with the same name.]

Seriously, this soup is as easy to make as regular tomato soup, and it's so delicious!

How To Roast Garlic
I used the roasted garlic for restaurant-style steaks and for a dip with olive oil!

Mexican Street Corn

We fell in love with street corn last winter during our Florida vacation.  I made it a few weeks ago to go with some delicious fish, and we just fell in love with it! The recipe from Pinterest just said "a little of this and a little of that" so I broke down what I used in my post here.

Silhouette Artwork
Seriously, how cute is this girl?  We got a great "Roxy" print a couple Christmases ago, so I didn't want Shadow to feel left out.  I printed out a photo of her, cut it out, transferred it onto black paper, and cut it out again.  Now it hangs opposite her sister's!

Okay, so this wasn't really a "loved it," but I did finally try bobby pins the "right way."  Honestly the hold was just as good, but I thought that the pin really stuck into my head this way - definitely not comfortable.

For my hair, the "right way" for bobby pins changed my life. Bobby pins never stay in the hair the wrong way. And that soup looks amazing.

I didn't know until recently either that flat side up was the "right way". I think if the wavy side is the underside, why don't the manufacturers put them on the underside of the package? Do they not know how confusing that is for generations of girls??

I have a love/hate relationship with pinterest. Like I haven't touched it in weeks but I'm sure now that you brought it up today, I'll look tonight before bed. I need to have a pinterest day.

I did not know that bobby pins were supposed to work a specific way...

The bobby pin thing doesn't seem to make a difference for me either! The cat artwork turned out sooo cute! Might try out making something similar! I love seeing what works for people on pinterest- loved this post!
