A Post About Nothing

This blogger has hit a brick wall.  Guys, I did so good over the holidays and has so many fun ideas, but it hit me last Sunday night in a moment of panic that I have nothing planned for anytime in the future besides a few Wedding Wednesdays and the occasional recipe.  Big whoops.  So, here's the random crap on my mind throughout Thursday...

My major food groups since the new year have been spinach, KIND bars, water, Rice Chex, hot chocolate, and balsamic vinegar, and I am very satisfied.

Speaking of food, anyone tried Nature Box?  I'm intrigued.

A couple nights ago, I was falling asleep on the couch watching Parenthood, one of our two current binge-watching shows (the other is House of Cards), so when the episode ended, I told Mike to put on whatever... he turned on the Gossip Girl pilot.  Here's how much I knew about the show before watching it (PS I watched ALL of it and didn't fall asleep): Blake Lively's in it and there's a character called Gossip Girl, so obviously I thought Blake Lively was Gossip Girl.  Don't laugh at me.  Also, I might now be addicted to it.

I didn't do a December Outfit of the Month.  I did do some Cyber Monday shopping, though, and bought this shirt, as seen here, as well as this dress (that I have no clue what I'll wear it for, but it's the cutest thing ever) and this cream blouse all for like $30.  That counts, right?

Speaking of outfits, this has been my outfit of choice for the last week (it's been in the 20s and 30s - I thought I moved to SOUTH Carolina): short Uggs, ankle pants (from one of last year's OOTMs), over-sized sweaters, and not pictured: infinity scarves galore.  #Fashionista #Not

Now that I see that photo, I want more ankle pants - to Target!

...15 minutes later, after a purchase of 4 pairs of ankle pants for $40 shipped...

We still have our Christmas tree up.  Christmas season doesn't end until, at least, the Epiphany, so this weekend we will probably, finally, be taking everything down.  There's nothing worse than a de-Christmasfied house.

Also related to fashion, last night I went to a Bloggers' Night Out at a new local boutique: Vestique.  We chatted fashion, blogging, and the holidays with some great ladies over wine.  And there were cake pops - epic cake pops.  If you're looking for new blogs to read, definitely check out some of these ladies: Coastal Bride (our Charleston Blog Society's fearless leader), Brunettes on Broad, A Lowcountry Wedding, Charleston Street Style, and Sunflowers and Lace.  Can't wait to share more next week!

And lastly, before your weekend starts, don't forget to enter my jewelry giveaway!

I LOVE Nature Box... have you tried it? I think I have it where I can send out a free one to try. If you want, send me your email address & I'll send you the link to get it. We look forward to it every month. Wish they would sell the products themselves so we don't have to wait every month for a small bag.

My Christmas tree is still up too and I don't feel bad about it! lol I even put the light on last night just to enjoy it while I blogged. Hopefully I find the time to take it down this weekend *fingers crossed*

Glad you enjoyed the event last week! It's always amazing to me how many local girls have blogs. Our Christmas tree/cat combo was driving me bananas so it's been done for a week now. I definitely miss the decorations though! Happy weekend, miss ;)

We're leaving our tree up until the end of the month. We like the lights.
Concerning Gossip Girl: I'll see you in 125 episodes. That might be how many there are and you won't be able to rest until you get to the end.

I love gossip girl. I watched it religiously through all of the seasons, it will throw you for a loop...after loop, after loop. Happy Friday!

I was totally opposite of you. I did blog this holiday season but I've started recently again! I love the Uggs. My old Bear Paws must have a hole and my feet got so wet with the snow today. I really want to treat myself to a pair of Uggs! They are so cute and I think I deserve them! hehe

I miss my tree but I do love having my space back. I haven't seen Gossip Girl but love Blake Lively.

I've kind hit a wall when it comes to blogging too...gotta get back on track! We just started Nature Box about a month ago. We've received the free sample box and then our first "real" one and we really like it! It's so nice to have some different healthy snacking options around the house. I take some and put them in my desk at work too. It's the perfect amount to last for the month (at least for us) and it's nice knowing we have some healthy options.
