Five on Friday

1. Obviously (as if y'all didn't hear about it enough), it was Mike's birthday this week!  I got him a few gifts: new golf polo, Amy Poehler's book, and made his favorite Inside Out Cupcakes.  We also went to see American Sniper.

2. Mike's birthday also fell on kickball night.  It was our third game and our first WIN!! We're a hodgepodge team of random people who joined CSSC and actually have all moved to Charleston in the last 6 months.  We obviously celebrated our win with some beer and chicken before we went to the movies.

3. We're over halfway through HOC.  As much as we wanted to binge-watch, we're been trying to enjoy every episode.  You know we will be finishing it this weekend!

4. This weekend, besides HOC, I'm excited to spend time outside (60s both days!!) and brunch on Sunday at The Park Cafe.

5. I'm headed to Dallas on Monday for the week for my company's national network meeting.  We're one of 200 chapters, and these meetings happen every other year.  Two years ago was my first one, and it was so inspiring.  I can't wait to see all of my old co-workers from CT, too!

We thought we were moving pretty slowly through HOC and then when we looked last night we realized we only have 2 episodes left. Horrors! So we stopped and decided to spread those out through the weekend ;)

Those cupcakes look delicious! So glad Mike had a great birthday, it sounds like he got some great gifts and I'm sure the kickball win was an added bonus. That looks like a glorious place for brunch- and I'm excited to watch some more HOC this weekend too, we only made it through 4 episodes last weekend!
