Five Before (Good) Friday

Helloooooo, three-day weekend!  Easter is my favorite and down here in South Carolina, it's definitely the unofficial start of spring.  Flowers are in bloom and it's going to be in the 80s tomorrow.  I can't wait to just stroll around downtown all weekend, and Gillian told me about an awesome Easter hat parade on Saturday morning that we will for sure be going to!  Even though it's only Thursday, here's 5 things for you:

1 // Speaking of Gillian, I've had many a blate in the past couple of weeks. I met Jillian's beautiful baby girl Violet last week, went out on a double date to The Alley with Erika and her husband, and hung out a few times with Shelby and, of course, Gillian.  Yeah, I've reached the point that I think I need to stop calling them blates haha.  These ladies have become some fantastic friends in Charleston, and they're all amazing people.  (Hint, hint: check them out!)

2 // Has anyone seen that you can play Pac-man in Google maps?  I've been having my share of fun with that in downtown Charleston.  If you haven't, you need to check it out!

3 // If you're looking for something fun to craft, create, or cook this weekend, check out my Easter Round up from last year.

4 // Sia released another new video with Maddie Ziegler today: Big Girls Cry.  Definitely check it out, but I don't think it's as good as Chandelier or Elastic Heart.

5 // Mike's meal game has been on point lately.  He's been making some amazing Damn Delicious recipes (Korean Beef Bowl is up this weekend), and used leftovers from my mac and cheese to make mac and cheese-stuffed burgers in the cast iron skillet.  They were amazing as they look.  We paired it with my favorite pasta salad, and I know we will be enjoy more of this throughout the spring and summer.

Mike's cousins are here for the weekend!  I'll be back on Tuesday, so I can enjoy the long weekend with them!  I hope everyone has a happy Easter!!

Can Mike come cook for us? I prepped a crockpot meal, asked Keith to turn it on when he left so it could cook the 8 hours...get home and the meat is red. Lovely Keith didn't turn it on, came home at lunch which was 1 and finally remembered. Needless to say we had to eat out. Men!!

Next time I come visit, Can we pretty please schedule a "blate" or "friend date" with all your new friends in Charlotte so I can meet some of the wonderful people you chat about on here?! I would love that! Also, I cannot imagine a mac & cheese burger, but my best friend from the Disney College Program, David, he would probably be in heaven.... he's obsessed with the mac & cheese pizza at Cici's haha. I, on the other hand, am completely grossed out! lol Sigh... wish you were coming to Disney next week, or I wish we lived in the same town, or I wish I was coming to visit... or all of the above! Whatever. Have a happy Easter, friend!
