Wedding Wednesday: Toasts and Eats

Welcome back to Wedding Wednesday!  Today I just have a few photos to share with you from after our first dance.  Before everyone enjoyed dinner, our Best Man, Maid of Honor, and my dad all gave speeches and toasts.  You can hear parts of all of them in our wedding video, if you'd like.  After that, our officiant, who also joined us at the reception, blessed the food, and we ate.  While everyone started their dinners, Mike and I went table to table to greet everyone again.  We really wanted to make sure that we saw everyone, so it was important to us to not only do a receiving line, but also say thank everyone for being there at their tables.  While we were gone, chaos obviously ensued (photo proof below) at our sweetheart table.

Now it's your turn: share you own engagement/ wedding/ honeymoon/ anniversary post with me and Macy below.  Please link back to one of our pages so that others can find us and join in the Wedding Wednesday fun!

The one thing I forgot to do at my wedding is to say a huge thank you from me and gary to everyone - but we did it at the rehearsal dinner and day after brunch which had basically all our out of town guests (more than half the wedding) LOL so we covered everyone at some point! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

We can't decide what to do to see everyone. I would prefer just a receiving line, and dave wants to go around to each table. I feel like that would take forever though with 200 guests. A mix of both would be perfect though! I love that your sweetheart table was still being used while you and Mike were off saying your hellos ;)

Happy Wedding Wednesday!!

the sweetheart table is such a cute idea! we sat with our wedding party and their dates in the middle of our venue. it was a fun way to also be surrounded by everyone. xo jillian - cornflake dreams

To this day I THINK I greeted all the tables, sometimes I'll sit back and remember that day and can't remember that, ha!!
