Falling for...Charleston!

I'm so excited to share today's post all about my city...

Link up at the bottom of this post with myself, Veronica, and Macy with your own post about fall in your city!  The sights, the smells, the food - we love it all!

Now about my own city - fall in Charleston is definitely one of my favorite times of year.  The tourists have gone home and the weather is perfect.  From September to November, the average high drops from 85 to 70 and the average low at night plummets from 75 to 58 - perfect weather to walk around town and check out all of the fall decor.  Especially South of Broad, I love all of the pumpkins and Halloween decorations!

Also with the cooler weather, we aren't quite as worried about our bathing suit bodies anymore.  We can cover up with over-sized sweaters and wear leggings for pants, so fall in Charleston is all about the food.  Charleston Restaurant Week and the Southern Living Taste of Charleston take place in September.  There's even a mac and cheese festival in October and the food film festival in November!  So many restaurants have fantastic patios, and I love sitting outside to eat!

I love fall in Charleston! We had the most perfect weather for walking around/dress shopping on Saturday. We enjoyed the outdoor patio at The Blind Tiger and all of the cute decorations everywhere else.

A Mac n cheese festival! Oh man! Haha love the skeletons on the grass!!! Love how people really get into the spirit of Halloween!! One of the reasons why I love Fall so much! I wish fall in Boston would be 60's all the way through, I'd be happy with that haha

Thanks for doing this link up with me!! It's been so fun!

The weather in Charleston sounds very similar to the weather in Houston, cooler but definitely not as cool as it is farther north. The mac n cheese festival sounds like the perfect thing to do during the Fall!
