Off to Neverland!

Today's the day!  I'm heading up to Boston tonight after work for an early Thursday morning flight to LAX! [How hard will it be to not sing "Party in the USA" when I hop off the plane? Answer: Very.]

We will spend Thursday sightseeing, Friday at the Run Disney Expo, Saturday at the Neverland Fun Run 5k, and Sunday at the Tinker Bell Half Marathon!  There will also be plenty of Disneyland/California Adventure time each day too.

My parents are coming with me and even running the 5k too!  Unfortunately, Mike isn't able to join me for this adventure, but I cannot wait until our next trip which will include the Wine & Dine Half Marathon, completing my Coast to Coast medal.  I have a feeling it will be extra special.

I have outfits for each day ready, whether for running or just to wear at the parks!  Of course I will bring my shirts from my first Disney half marathon, and I bought new outfits for the 5k and half.  I am so excited to wear them [and so excited for 70 degree temps!]!
Wings sounded like a bad idea when running with 10,000 people, so a tutu seemed like the second best option.

Matching 5k shirts for me and my parents!

I have to admit, I downloaded Peter Pan on my iPad to watch on the plane.  I am just so excited!

I can't wait to update you all when we get to California!

When I return, I am also looking forward to a little giveaway I'll be hosting at Allie's blog [well, actually two - I'm co-hosting another big giveaway that you should be on the lookout for too!], since I'm sponsoring her this month.  I look forward to purchasing a couple of little goodies for you all when I'm in Disneyland to share with my and her viewers.  Make sure to go follow her [and help her get to 500 followers], she's great!  Any suggestions or requests for goodies? :)

Oh, how fun! I've heard that race is delightful. A few of my friends did it a couple years ago. I'm not a marathoner...I've done a couple half marathons and I think I'm good with that. ;) I'd like to get back into distance running. Do you have a shoe you recommend?

Love the outfits! Your trip sounds like so much fun. I'm a runner, but not a marathoner. Maybe one day though, I would love to do one of the Disney marathons!

Now that i know what you're wearing, I'll keep an eye out for you!! I'll be the huge pregnant woman bringing up the rear this year...walking instead of running--hoping to finish around the 3:10 mark. (The wings aren't so bad, actually--I wore them last year, and am planning on wearing them again this year--didn't hit anyone!)

If I don't see you (which, honestly, is likely), BEST OF LUCK!!
