Weekend Recap

This weekend was a fantastic one: Christmas decorating [can't wait to share more photos when we're done this week!], football, friends, and wedding prep!  Here's my recap:

Friday: This is what our house and garage looked like all night.  We tested lights and put tons of them up.  Also, check out these great glass balls my parents gave us from their first Christmas tree in 1978!

Saturday: Mike and I went to the last UConn football game of the year.  We definitely went out with a bang: breakfast burritos and Hand Grenades - ever heard of those before?  And yes, that whole bottle of Grain Alcohol was necessary...  On Saturday night, Amanda slept over and we did Kitchen Mix Up baking!  There's still time to sign up for this month's fun!

Sunday: We went bridesmaid and flower girl dress shopping!  All five of my bridesmaids, my flower girl, her mom, and my mom went to David's Bridal.  They all picked out dresses and they all look so beautiful!!!  The photo below shows the right dress, but not the right color.

The bridesmaids dresses are beautiful! And I'm loving the dress you found for your flower girl. How fun! So what colors are you going for? Can't wait to see all your Christmas décor put up!

Wedding planning is so much fun! I love being married but I sometimes wish our engagement had been longer than six months so I could've had more time with planning. The BM dresses look great! I love the long silhouette. And your flowergirl so cute! I think my flowergirls wore the same dress and sash too. I'll have to show you some photos. :) Congrats on the planning and enjoy your holidays!
