Spring in Charleston

Spring will officially start this Sunday, but it's felt like springtime here in Charleston for a couple of months.  I mean, it's actually been more like summer for the last week or so with every day in the mid-80s, but it looks as though the next few days we'll be experiencing more spring-like temperatures in the 60s and 70s.  A few weeks back, I went to an #InstaMeetUpCHS with Erika, organized and hosted by Mark and Jonathan.  We started the tour in College of Charleston's Cistern Yard, learning about the history of the area and snapping photos at spots like Wasbee Range, Grace Church, and Mount Zion AME throughout Harleston Village.

I hope everyone has a happy weekend and a fantastic start to spring!

As soon as I saw the title I almost didn't open this post because this time of year makes me miss Charleston the most! Even more than summer (obviously I opened the post and obviously I love any and all Chucktown pictures ;))

So cool you did the insta meet up! Is this your first one? We always talked about doing one, but never did.

I loooove spring in Charleston! We'll be down there tomorrow afternoon and I am so sad about the cool/rainy weather. I was hoping for some more 80 degree sunshine so that we could enjoy our favorite rooftop bar!

I love Charleston! It's such a pretty place, even in the super humid summer months. I'd imagine Spring is a bit more pleasant to walk around in tho haha

Such cute places in Charleston! I've been dying to visit and spring sounds like the perfect time since we'll be walking around outdoors a lot of touring the city and of course eating all the southern food possible.

Beautiful photographs! I would love to visit Charleston in the Spring. We are actually looking to visit in June, so I'll have to look into these spots and possibly doing a tour. Was it like a photography tour?
