Melting Pot. Anyone ever been there? We went all in with the four course fondue, and, of course, my favorite was the dessert dark chocolate & crunchy peanut butter fondue. We had a lot of fun at the Broadway area, too, especially at the dueling piano bar!
On the way home, we performed our civic duty and voted in the primary before meeting my parents at our place. They spent a couple days with us, and it was the perfect excuse to try a couple new (to us) places around the city: lunch at Queen Street Grocery, walks back and forth around the South of Broad area, a visit to the Charleston Museum, and Coast for a fantastic dinner. We finished the trip with a pre-birthday celebration for Mike - 30 in 2 days - eeekk!! Thanks for making him an awesome cake, mom!
