Christmas Crafts

Alright, have to admit, this is a scheduled post I wrote before going to Florida... I hope I will actually be sitting by the pool getting a tan sunburn when this goes up.  Happy humpday!

I love "doing stuff" around Christmas.  As you've already seen, I love decorating.  Oh, and I love Christmas music and television specials too.  However, I'm one of those people who can't just sit and watch tv - that's one of the reasons I bought my iPad.  One of the things I love to do while watching tv is craft.  And there are SO MANY festive things for this time of year on Pinterest!

As I've also learned, crafting can also create some great gifts.  Even though I try and shop all year, my budget is a bit tight this year, so I'm planning on giving a few homemade gifts this year.  I love giving homemade because you always know they are good quality and come from the heart.

Here's what I'm already working on:
Stockings for my roommates

Koozies for my roommates and cinnamon ornaments as gift tags for family.
[I'll be sharing that recipe on Kristin's blog in a guest post this month!]

Now here are some of my Pinterest inspirations.  You can find more on my "Homemade Christmast Gifts" board.
As you can see, I've already started these as stocking stuffers for my roommates.  I plan on decorating them a bit more.

I seriously LOVE these!  I will definitely be making at least one six pack as a gift.

I make fudge every year and this is a GREAT gift.  Now I just need to find a good deal on cookie cutters.

This looks like such an easy, colorful, and festive gift!

I'm linking up with Michelle at The Vintage Apple!

And Jane, Chantal, Sarah, and Jamie!

I should show that Guinness one to my parents - they always give my hubby Guinness for Christmas. (He prefers the widget cans, though.)
